Slow Living x Hillside Villa, Bhimtal is located in the peaceful village of Basa, near Bhimtal, approximately 295 km from Delhi, making it an easy 6–7 hour drive from the city, depending on traffic. - By Train:
The nearest railway station is Kathgodam Railway Station, located about 22–30 km from the villa (approximately 45–60 minutes by taxi). Regular trains connect Delhi with Kathgodam. - By Air:
The nearest airport is Pantnagar Airport, approximately 58 km from the villa (around 2 hours by road). Taxis are easily available from the airport.

Additional Information
Our kitchen is reserved for our staff to ensure we can serve guests efficiently. Self-cooking is not permitted, except for heating milk for infants. The kitchen is also used by our staff to prepare their meals, so guest access is limited. Home-cooked meals are available on request from our à la carte menu.
As we are located in a remote, offbeat area, groceries are sourced fresh from the nearby town. To ensure timely service, all meal orders—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—must be placed at least one day in advance. Same-day meal orders cannot be accommodated.
Meal Timings:
Breakfast: 8:30–10:30 AM
Lunch: 1:00–2:30 PM
Snacks: 5:00–6:30 PM
Dinner: 8:30–10:00 PM
Pet Policy
A maximum of 1 pet is allowed per booking. Pets must be vaccinated and trained, and advance notice is required. Pets must be kept on a leash in common areas. Pets are not permitted in the kitchen. A refundable security deposit of ₹10,000 is applicable. Pets are not allowed to roam freely after dusk.
Guest Capacity
The maximum capacity is 10 guests. Extra bedding charges apply for more than 8 adults. Children aged 6 years and above will be counted as adults.
Smoking Policy
Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited. Smoke and ash can cause lasting odour and damage to linens. Guests are requested to smoke only outdoors in the designated smoking areas, where ashtrays are provided.
Driver Accomodation
There is no accommodation available on-site for drivers. The closest accommodation option for drivers is in Jungaliyagaon, approximately 15 minutes from the property.
Accessibility & Road Conditions
The road to the property is accessible by most vehicles. However, the final two hairpin bends can be challenging for Tempo Travellers due to their long wheelbase. We strongly recommend travelling in LMVs, including cars and SUVs, to ensure direct access to the property entrance.
Connectivity & Amenities
Mobile network connectivity may be limited due to the property’s offbeat location. The villa is equipped with reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi.
Air conditioning is not available.
A tumble dryer is not available.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
Once a booking is confirmed through Slow Living, no refunds shall be issued to the customer under any circumstances. This applies regardless of the reason for cancellation.
In the event that a customer wishes to cancel their booking, Slow Living will offer the customer the option to adjust the booking dates. The new dates must be within [a specified timeframe, such as 12 months] from the original booking date, subject to availability. Any price difference due to seasonal rates or other factors may be charged to the customer at the time of rescheduling.
Please note that last-minute cancellations will not be entertained. A guest needs to inform the hotel at least 3 days prior for a date change, if required.
